Carla Hellinga, who signs her work as CAHEL, is of Dutch origin and works and lives in France. Her works, which are usually tall, thin and acutely expressionistic, often seem to seek their balance in space. They are the image of the human being faced with his solitude, his relationships with others, or with society in general.

CAHEL is entirely self-taught in sculpting.
